Rajdhani Engineering College Organizes CE Fest 2014

Online, March 26, 2014 (Newswire.com) - One of the major Civil Engineering events starts today at Rajdhani campus! The fest lasts from 27th to 29th March 2014 where in the college students are participating in various fun filled, trivia and brain storming activities. The event is initiated by the department of Civil Engineering. The list of activities taking place on day one at the college's CE- Fest 2014 includes the following:
Tile mania
The activity requires the participants to assemble various broken and colorful tile pieces to create an innovative design. For this, the maximum number of participants would be three in every team. Each team is entitled to provide with four tiles of different colors in 1 square feet area. The team creating most effective and innovative design is to be considered as the winner. The time to cure this mania is limited to maximum one hour.
Skyscrapers
The tall rise buildings enhance the beauty and creativity of the world. In this event tall rise buildings are created using straws. Each team comprises of maximum 3 participants. The time is limited to one hour. Each team is entitled to limited number of straws i.e. 150 straws. The tallest building with maximum number of nodes and neatness is to be considered as the best structure.
Aptitude Test
Aptitude test is conducted to develop the verbal and numerical ability of the participants. So, here the contestants move on to a 30 question test series with a time limit of 30 minutes. Each question carries negative marking of 0.25 marks if answered incorrect. The activity is prepared to test the responsiveness and sharpness of students.
