QSports Leagues - Qatar's Newest Platform For Social & Recreational Sports Launched
QSports Leagues was officially launched on June 06, 2011 with the first game of its inaugural 6-a-side Indoor Football Leagues. The first league is sponsored by Fitness First Gym and supported by the Qatar Olympic committee.
Online, July 14, 2011 (Newswire.com) - QSports Leagues was officially launched on June 06, 2011 with the first game of its inaugural 6-a-side Indoor Football Leagues.
The first league is sponsored by Fitness First Gym and supported by the Qatar Olympic committee, with 12 teams, made up of a mix of local Qatari and expatriate working professionals, college students and sports enthusiasts will last for 11 weeks, while the second league, the Al Wakra 6-a-side Indoor Football League, also supported by the Qatar Olympic Committee, will see 8 teams competing for the top spot.
QSports Leagues is a new and first of its kind platform for sports enthusiasts in Qatar. QSports allows both individuals as well as teams to sign up for any active sports leagues through its interactive online website www.qsportsleagues.com
Ghanim Al Mohannadi, co-founder of QSports Leagues, while thanking the Qatar Olympic Committee for its support, strongly believes that to promote active and healthy life style, participation in recreational sport must be encouraged at the grass root level by offering an easy, affordable, and accessible platform for people to join sporting activities.
