Pulse Healthcare(www.pulsehealthcare.net.au), a West Australian boutique nursing agency, is celebrating five years in business this month.

With the ageing population of Australia soaring, PULSE founder, Lucy Sawkins, identified a need for nursing and care staff particularly in the Aged Care Sector and in 2007 launched the agency to meet the growing demand for high quality care staff in the region. Today, PULSE specialises in staffing solutions for private healthcare providers, government facilities, and the community and is fast becoming one the best in Western Australia.

Whilst other start-ups have been and gone, PULSE reaches this milestone at a time when they are busier than ever and have a growing client and staff database. They pride themselves on their knowledge of not only the industry, but also the local area, and this sets them apart from larger, less personal agencies that use numerous call centres across the country to make bookings.

The PULSE team helps cover pre-booked and last minute shifts, extended holiday and sick leave. It also provides personalised in-home care as well as short term and long term respite for carers. They offer a professional prompt service and consistently place the right staff with the right clients rather than simply signing off timesheets and clocking up the dollars.
