Pulp Images To Preserve Thousands Of Historic Pulp Art Images

Award winning pulp images are not something rare, but the collections that are preserved and available to the public are becoming something of a treasure hunt.

Pulp Images in conjunction with a team of artists and experts from 427design.com have paired up to preserve these artistic gems. Starting in June 2013 they will be launching a Kickstarter campaign to raise $40,000 to fund the images database and website development.

Supporters will receive many incentives including, T-shirts, production posters, credits to purchase digital images when the site goes live (target January 2014), 6 different handmade silkscreen posters made by 427design.com and rockets. That's right Pulp Images will be offering high level backers beautiful rockets made of solid aluminum or solid bronze with gold and silver plating as options.
Rockets are awesome, but so are ray guns. High level backers are offered a nickel plated ray gun. This is your chance to own a rocket ro ray gun deirctly inspired byt eh cover of a 1955 pulp magazine. For one single backer, they will receive a rendition of themselves on the cover of a pulp magazine. Pulp Images amazing artists will create a pulp inspired piece of art that features the likeness of the high backer doing something that moves them. Ever thought of saving a planet? What is Pulp Images
It all started with a group of NASA's finest contractors, who had always had an affinity for the Pulp Images of the twentieth century. With over 19,000 images and growing, this is the galaxy's largest source for pulp images. These images span the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s and many of them have already beeb restored. Pulp Images will continue to add additional pulp genres and perform digital restoration. .
