Vitality Consulting, Inc. Emphasizes Networking Training

Vitality Consulting, Inc.'s director of operations discussed the firm's new training materials. These resources focus on networking at business events.

Leaders at Vitality Consulting, Inc. recently stressed their pledge to maintain an upbeat culture in which people are able to grow steadily. Lately, networking has been their main focus. “We’re sharing helpful networking tips,” said Jennifer, Vitality Consulting, Inc.’s director of operations. “Our team members travel to business events, and we work hard to include networking skills in our trainings. This is intended to prepare our experts for success.”

The firm’s managers have paid more notice to networking skills after attending a recent quarterly conference. “Our experts are already quite adept at socializing in professional settings. Still, we were inspired to improve even further. We decided that training in networking best practices should be applied to our coaching efforts,” explained Jennifer. “We are intent on honing our progress by adding relevant advice to our training material. Currently, it involves managers pairing with less-practiced personnel for one-on-one tutoring.”

"Making a team effort of networking is a great strategy as well,"

Vitality Consulting, Inc.’s Program Includes Professional Contact Methods for Teams and Individuals

As a result of the recent conference, Vitality Consulting, Inc.’s leaders placed extra emphasis on making a range of contacts in business. They want to assist all associates, especially those who are introverted, in finding ways to be more open. “It is a common fallacy that introverts are shy and cannot perform socially,” said Jennifer. “Business requires interaction, but not all professionals are extroverts. Both types of people have a lot to offer. Introverts are great listeners. Extroverts are happy in large group settings.”

“Making a team effort of networking is a great strategy as well,” she went on. “When you are at an event, you don’t really need to meet everyone. However, two colleagues can work together to meet and spend time with different people. You cover more ground while still getting the right kind of connection through conversation.” Jennifer mentioned several tips for thriving at networking events. They covered how to begin conversations with new people and researching who will attend certain functions. She also suggested making contact on social media, and more.

“We want our people to know the value of networking,” she concluded. “We also want them to feel at ease meeting others. We hope to help them build confidence, and to find methods that work best for them. The more they train, the less stressful networking will be. We view it as a vital part of building professional and personal success.”
