TRAA Makes Annual Award Presentations

The Towing and Recovery Association of America (TRAA) Presents Its Annual Service Awards.

On Friday, April 10, 2015, at its Annual Board Meeting in Orlando, FL, The Towing and Recovery Association of America (TRAA) presented several awards.

The TRAA Distinguished Service Award was given to Bud Gruber for his work as chairman of the Motor Club Communication Committee.  Bud has been instrumental is opening an on-going dialogue between TRAA and the various clubs who operate in our industry.  The TRAA Distinguished Service Award states that it is given in recognition of many years of outstanding contribution and untiring devotion the towing and recovery industry and to the TRAA.

The TRAA Presidential Award was presented to Jeffrey Godwin who is the TRAA Associate Member Representative on the board and also serves as chairman of the Public Relations Committee.  Mr. Godwin’s enthusiasm and continued support to TRAA and the Cabinet have been instrumental to our positive growth. He also rebuilt the TRAA website during the past year among other contributions.

The TRAA National Citizenship Award went to John Glass who has been a presidential appointee on the TRAA board as well as chairman of the Legislative Committee.  John’s efforts have established important relationships for TRAA and have allowed TRAA to work as the voice of the industry in response to legislative matters at the local, state and national level.  The TRAA National Citizenship Award states that it is given in recognition of contributions to the towing and recovery industry through good citizenship, legislative action and commitment to enhancement of the profession.
