Cornish Author's New Novel Released Through UK's Leading Independent Press.

SkyAzure Publishing - the leading independent press based in Saltash, Cornwall - is proud to announce the publication of "Black Dog Girl", the new novel by Cornish author Deborah Frances Anderson.

The novel is a gritty piece of contemporary fiction and advance copies have already attracted rave reviews. SkyAzure secured the rights after a protracted bidding war involving two major literary agencies and several other publishers.

The novel's protagonist, Sindy Black, is seventeen years old when she and her boyfriend Tommy ride off on their motorbike to embark on a new life together. Sindy knows the only way she can realise her goal of becoming a singer and actress is by escaping her brutal childhood years.

Her heart is yearning for success but as the special relationship between Sindy and Tommy becomes twisted by the inevitable circumstances imposed by fate, Sindy’s desperation grows, leading her into a very dark inner world. It isn’t long before she reaches the point where her mind begins to betray her and she becomes prepared to do ANYTHING to make her dreams come true. Sindy has an amazing gift but will destiny allow anyone to see it?
