The 17th Annual Price LeBlanc Toyota Nissan Swamp Pop Festival to take place July 18 & 19, 2014 in Gonzales, Louisiana.
Baton Rouge, LA, July 14, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Price LeBlanc Toyota proudly announces partnership with the Swamp Pop Music Festival. The 17th annual Price LeBlanc Toyota Nissan Swamp Pop Music Festival will take place July 18-19, 2014 at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center’s Trademart building in Gonzales, La. The event raises awareness and money for cystic fibrosis (CF), and over 6,000 Baton Rouge area visitors are expected.
The event boasts great performances in a music genre unique to the Louisiana area. Musical acts kick off Friday, July 18 at 6:00 pm with Warren Storm Willie T & Cypress with Tommy McLain. South 70 Band and Don Rich are also scheduled to play Friday night. Saturday, July 19, event-goers will enjoy performances from 11:00 am through 11:30 pm. Cliff Nickens, Ronnie Melancon & Friends, Kenny Fife & Bac Trac, Kenny Cornett & Killin’ Time, and TK Hulin & GG Shin will be performing. The Swamp Pop Music Festival will close out with Ryan Foret & Foret Tradition.

The music festival includes more than just performances. The Jambalaya Festival Association Cook-Off will also take place over the two days. Attendees can sample dishes as almost a hundred chefs compete for the top prize. On the second day of the festival, a motorcycle poker run as well as an open car and truck show will be held.
Admission costs $10 for July 18 and $15 for July 19. All proceeds from the Price LeBlanc Toyota Nissan Swamp Pop Music Festival go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The CF Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure and providing a higher quality of life to those diagnosed with the disease.
