ONGallery Celebrates Exhibition at 'Europe's Sexiest Hotel'

Manchester, September 21, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Manchester saw the celebration of a perfect partnership with the announcement of a first look at ONGallery's classic photography collection at Hotel Gotham.
The hotel bills itself as “Europe's sexiest hotel” and it proved a fitting location to exhibit the fantastic shots, which included some of the best known images of Marilyn Monroe and shots of icons like James Dean and Elizabeth Taylor.
The images are from limited edition print runs and are exceptional examples of classic photography. Work by the same artists and photographers behind the shots on display sells in international galleries for thousands. The only difference with the collection on display at the Gotham is the work done behind the scenes by the collection's curators at ONGallery who have worked to negotiate special prices for these genuine limited editions to make them more easily accessible to the wider public.
Hollywood Style with VIP Guests
People from the area came to celebrate the launch along with the group's own VIPs and celebrities including Emmerdale's Fiona Wade and Holby City's Rebecca Grant, who both entered into the classic Hollywood era with some stunning retro dresses.
Mr Selfridge star Edward Akrout was also in attendance with model Shelby Welinder, while Fiona Wade's fellow Holby City stars Jimmy Akingbola and Lauren Drummond also made a welcome appearance.
An Eclectic Exhibition
ONGallery created the collection specially for Bespoke Hotels, the company behind Hotel Gotham. The art company's founder and chief executive Peter Neilson said that he was delighted by the response to the beautiful and eclectic mix of art on display
“The event was a great success,” he continued. “For us at ONGallery, it was fantastic to see the the impression that these pieces of art have on people up close. These are such iconic photographs and the people involved in them are legends of a classic era, one which we have idolised for its beautiful stars who captured hearts the world over.
“With the ONGallery website now up and running we've brought this same experience to a much wider audience and we as a team are excited to enable more people to purchase and enjoy beautiful pieces of art.”
