Local Oncologist Collaborated On Research Of Breast Cancer Treatment Method
Fayetteville, AR, September 25, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Dr. J Thaddeus Beck, of Highlands Oncology Group (HOG), Northwest Arkansas’ premier cancer treatment facility, coauthored research on a potential treatment option of specific forms of breast cancer which will be presented at the AACR-NCI-EORTC International Conference on Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics. The conference will be from Nov. 5 to Nov. 9 in Boston.
The research, entitled “BELLE-4: A Phase II study of buparlisib and paclitaxel in women with HER2– advanced breast cancer, with or without PI3K pathway activation,” focuses on treatment advancement of breast cancer patients using targeted medications.
