New site creates priceless connection for school professionals

The link between school communicators in Illinois is now stronger with the launch of a new website.

The Illinois chapter of the National School Public Relations Association turned to eSchoolView to develop a website aimed at connecting members who often work in one-person departments. The new site builds a bridge between districts so professionals can better reach each one other for support and advice.

"School communications offices typically have limited resources so INSPRA's new website will serve as a clearinghouse for members who need to connect with their peers," Rob O'Leary, eSchoolView's executive director said. "We work with school districts and education organizations across the country to help them strengthen relationships with their communities, so this was a natural fit."

The new INSPRA website is built on eSchoolView's CMS platform and features a custom responsive design so is accessible from smartphones, tablets and desktops. The secure database within allows INSPRA members to search for other members, email active or inactive members and talk with one another in a private forum.

"The new website has form and function. It's clean design and easy navigation allows us to showcase our professional skills as school communicators," said Cathy Kedjidjian, INSPRA president-elect who led the web redevelopment for the organization. "Within a day of launch, the new website became the go-to source for our members from across the state to share ideas and resources and connect with each other."

INSPRA’s new site also has a secure registration area through which memberships or renewals can be processed.

Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio with offices in Arizona and North Carolina, eSchoolView is among the nation’s fastest growing companies with revenue that has increased by more than 300 percent in three years. eSchoolView ranks in the top third at 1409 on Inc. Magazine’s current 500|5000 list. The company was founded in 2008.

eSchoolView's newest product aimed at enhancing parent engagement was launched this month in connection with the creators of ProgressBook. OneView — a one-of-a-kind solution to manage student data created by eSchoolView — combines parent portal features, athletic forms, online enrollment for new students and forms for currently enrolled students in one complete package, eliminating the need for parents and teachers to have multiple accounts.

OneView ties in directly with eSchoolView's Content Management System (CMS) and eSchoolView's Instant Connect alert notification system, offering clients multiple solutions to communicate, dispatch information and manage data.
