NeoMercs is a collectible card game set in a world of ruthless mercenaries and powerful psychics.

“In the early 21st century, a powerful secret society called the ‘Organisation’ has developed a pill composed of a revolutionary nanotechnology. These pills are capable of storing technical information and are known as ‘Temporary Instant Knowledge’ or TIK.” – (NeoMercs, story excerpt)

NeoMercs is a game for two players. The aim is to collect and build a deck of sixty cards, whichare then taken into battle in an attempt to emerge victorious. Four main card types make up a deck. These are Character, Mission, TIK and Training cards.

Character cards are made up of Mercenaries and Psychics and brought into play to undertake missions. Mercenaries fight, while Psychics generally assist and influence the outcome of battle. Players can also train their characters in preparation for missions. Additionally, they can use powerful TIK pills to enhance their skills during battle.

The game uses a credit system and each turn the credits available to spend are determined by a player’s NeoStar total. Players start the game with three NeoStars and increase this by completing missions. NeoStars are the life blood of the game and twelve are needed to win.

NeoMercs takes around fifteen minutes to play. It’s easy to learn and very addictive. Simply build your deck, recruit and train characters, launch missions, get NeoStars and win the game.
