Launch of the Management of Risk (M_o_R®) global certification in United States by St. Edward's University and PEOPLECERT
First ever Instructor Led Training by PEOPLECERT accredited St. Edward's University marks the launch of the global certification in the US market
Online, July 30, 2014 (Newswire.com) - PEOPLECERT and St. Edward’s University Professional Education will be introducing the first ever M_o_R® (Management of Risk) certification program to take place in the US, marking the launch of the global certification in the region and further demonstrating PEOPLECERT’s commitment to the product’s global growth.
The M_o_R Qualification Scheme is part of the Global Best Practice (GBP) portfolio - that includes ITIL® and PRINCE2® - owned by AXELOS, a joint venture between the UK Cabinet Office and Capita plc. Global awareness and adoption of M_o_R is expected to grow dramatically with the award of the certification’s distribution by AXELOS to global certification bodies including PEOPLECERT in the beginning of the year.
M_o_R provides a framework for risk management considering the different aspects of an organization: strategic, program, project and operational and offers a tiered examination structure with two levels of qualification, Foundation and Practitioner.
The M_o_R Foundation Certification is suitable for individuals who want to demonstrate they have sufficient understanding of issues concerning the identification, assessment and control of risks across all organizational perspectives and comprehend the main elements of the M_o_R framework (Principles, Approach, Processes, Embedding and reviewing) and how they support corporate governance. The M_o_R Practitioner Certification is suitable for individuals who want to demonstrate they have achieved sufficient knowledge and understanding on how to apply M_o_R in a scenario situation.

Both M_o_R Foundation and Practitioner exams will be offered as part of the Instructor led training organized by St. Edward’s University Professional Education taking place August 25-29, 2014 and aimed at corporate managers, project/program managers and all other personnel who have an interest or responsibility for the Management of Risk.
