Ladd Family Pharmacy Offers Prescription for Holiday Giving

With the upcoming holiday season, Ladd Family Pharmacy has committed to giving back to the community through several different means.
Giving is important to us because we are a part of this community. We feel that giving back is all part of being a good citizen and supportive business owner. We want to make sure we do our part when possible to help those in need.

During the month of November, the pharmacy held a Facebook “like” campaign, in which they pledged to donate $5 to the Idaho Food Bank for every new like the page received. The campaign was a success, with the pharmacy donating $2,500 to the food bank. “Giving is important to us because we are a part of this community. We feel that giving back is all part of being a good citizen and supportive business owner. We want to make sure we do our part when possible to help those in need.” said Kip Ladd, Co-owner and Business Manager.
During the month of December, through the Idaho Food Bank’s Virtual Drive campaign the pharmacy will be matching dollar for dollar any amount donated through the pharmacy’s drive.
The pharmacy understands the importance of nutrition and health and wants to help those in need of food this holiday season. Ladd Family Pharmacy already supports Boise’s healthy community by offering affordable prices on prescriptions and other health services.
“The Idaho Food Bank has been a great partner since the days we started the 'Flu Shots for Turkeys' campaign when we opened. They are able to stretch each dollar so far we feel it is a good 'return on investment' of sorts to make as large an impact as possible.” said Ladd.
The pharmacy will be donating a total of $2,612 to help those in need this holiday season. Through supporting the Idaho Food Bank, Ladd Family Pharmacy has been hard at work improving the lives of those in the Boise community beyond the walls of the pharmacy itself.
