Terry A. Fox, a partner with Kelly Kronenberg, was re-elected to the Board of Directors of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel.

Fox, a partner in the Chicago office of national law firm Kelly Kronenberg, was re-elected to the Board of Directors of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. This association consists of an elite community of defense attorneys who strive to improve both the judicial system and the practice of law.
In his legal practice, Mr. Fox focuses on Employment and Labor law and has extensive experience advocating for employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights and Illinois Human Rights Commission, Cook County Human Rights Commission, and in federal and state trial and appellate courts. Additionally, he represents condominiums and other businesses in complex commercial disputes.
In additional to Employment and Labor law, Mr. Fox is experienced in matters involving the litigation of Insurance Coverage and Construction disputes. He also handles E-Discovery issues, having counseled clients on the impact of information systems on litigation. Additionally, he has obtained injunctive relief against terminated employees to stop post-termination contact through internal communication networks. In close conjunction with employment issues, he is involved in insurance coverage, policy drafting and other risk transfer strategies.
Mr. Fox’s diverse background also encompasses more than 15 years of experience in residential and commercial construction disputes. Prior to entering law school, he was an Office and Field Adjuster for all product lines including personal and commercial property and casualty insurance with Federated Mutual Insurance Company.
Mr. Fox earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Iowa State University and his Juris Doctor degree from University of Iowa. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois as well as the Illinois Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Trial Bar and the Northern District of Indiana.
