Invents Unveils The Computerized "File Retriever" For Swift Electronic Tracking

The File Retriever located and retrieves paper files faster than a human file clerk. It works well for both businesses and institutions.

Imagine efficiently locating and retrieving paper files at the press of a button or the click of a cursor. The File Retriever, a computerized, automated office system for the rapid electronic tracking, locating, and retrieving of paper files, saves time and labor costs for any commercial or institutional operation that relies on paper files.

The File Retriever allows paper files to be stored in any order or sequence and retrieved with the press of a button on the File Retriever's touchscreen control panel or the click of a computer-screen cursor. It can be designed and configured in a variety of shapes, sizes, and capacities to suit the needs of the individual users. Televised test marketing has been completed indicating an exceptional consumer interest in the File Retriever.

"Retrieving client/patient files quickly can be critical and this device activates an immediate electronic search for a particular file. Once located the mechanical aspects take over and extract the file shunting it to a central drawer where it can be picked up. It works perfectly."

Dominic McDuff, Inventor

The Patent Pending File Retriever was invented by Dominic McDuff of Hyattsville, MD. Mr. McDuff, who worked in the health-care industry for years, said, “Each individual paper file-folder has a strip label bearing an individual person's identification number. This label, and the individual's full name, address, and an identification number are entered into the File Retriever database in the office computer system. The file label is equipped with unique RFID tags, so that the file label can be entered and logged into the system-merely highlighting or selecting that file on the File Retriever database screen. This activates an immediate electronic search for that label. Once located, the electro-mechanical aspect of the system takes over, and a series of linked, motorized servo-mechanisms functions to physically grasp and extract the file, and shunt it to a central depository drawer or bin where it can be picked up. The File Retriever increases office efficiency, resulting in better service for patients, customers, and clients.”
