INO.com, Inc., a website that provides quotes, charts, news and analysis for stock, futures, forex, ETF and mutual fund traders, selects Miriam’s Kitchen as the recipient of the INO Cares campaign contribution for November, 2014.

INO.com launched their monthly charity campaign in January of 2014. In this first corporate program of its kind, INO Cares selects one nonprofit organization per month to receive a monetary donation. Since the beginning of this year, INO.com has sent donations to the South County Assistance Network (SCAN), the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, Rebuilding Together of Anne Arundel County, West/Rhode Riverkeeper’s Ride For The Rivers, Beards Battling Cancer, the Mikey Medium English School, Duffey Footprints 5K, and the CF Cycle for Life.

"I think that volunteering at Miriam's will help us all walk away with a greater appreciation for the things we have and give us a chance to give back to others that could use a helping hand."

Kenny Shay, Director of External Marketing

Located in the District of Columbia, Miriam’s Kitchen prepares and serves breakfast and dinner to 200-300 homeless people each day. Among food services, Miriam’s Kitchen, along with partnering organizations, provides supportive services such as metal health, medical and legal services, assistance applying for benefits, therapeutic art classes, creative writing classes, use of phone and mailing address, and housing assistance.

On November 13, 2014, INO.com will be sponsoring a dinner at Miriam’s Kitchen. Employees and owners alike will prepare and service dinner. This event will not only help those in need in the DC area, but it will also promote corporate teamwork and social responsibility. “I think that volunteering at Miriam’s will help us all walk away with a greater appreciation for the things we have and give us a chance to give back to others that could use a helping hand,” says Kenny Shay, Director of External Marketing. INO Cares organizer, Lindsay Bittinger, hopes that volunteering with Miriam’s Kitchen will become a regular traditional for the INO family.
