Marek has been appointed to the role of Product Development Manager and joins ide’s US based team in Pennsylvania. Marek’s appointment marks an exciting phase of international progress for ide and signifies an important step towards building a strong international base to deliver cutting edge technologies that make a difference and change lives.

Marek is a recognised leader of innovation and research with specialised experience in the fields of cardiovascular engineering, biomedical sensors and neurosurgical diagnostics and has previously held key senior roles at NeuroDx and Rheomedix Inc. 

With over twenty years of experience in private sector R&D, academic translational research and medical device start-ups, Marek’s appointment opens the door to a deeper understanding of radical new technologies and new ways of thinking for ide and its clients.

Marek’s past experience as the Principal Investigator on multiple multi-million dollar grants across the public and private sector will also strengthen ide’s capabilities to support clients accelerate the commercialisation process and deliver projects across rapidly evolving and challenging new markets. 

Marek holds a PH.D in biomedical engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA.​
