Hunting season has not officially started yet but the Indian River Braves feasted on a winless Great Bridge Wildcats squad.

Hunting season has not officially started yet but the Indian River Braves feasted on a winless Great Bridge Wildcats squad using two touchdowns from running back Tyain Smith #21 to hunt down a 35-0 victory Friday night at Great Bridge high school.

Indian River running back Tyain Smith #21 was focused and determined, when the fourth-ranked Braves traveled to take on the Wildcats.  Smith, a senior, was going back to play against his former high school. He played for the Wildcats last season.

Although Smith wished his previous high school all the best, he was also looking forward to playing well and showcasing his talents.  He did just that, rushing for 121 yards and scoring two touchdowns and catching three passes for 51 yards Friday night.  Smith was helpful in leading the Braves to a 35 -0 win.  

Smith, 6-foot and 200 pounds, wants to show scouts what he can do. He has offers from Army, Appalachian State and Mississippi Valley StateMaryland, Boston College, Louisville and Rutgers have also express interest.
