These vehicles use alternative fuel sources which lower emissions and cut down on pollution. Where once electronic cars were a rarity, now it is hard to spend a day out on the streets without seeing one.

Today, incredible technological advances are being made. In late September, Tesla Motors began delivering its new Tesla Model X to individuals who had reserved the car. The Model X is completely electronic and runs off of two power lithium-ion battery packs. It is one of the most powerful fully electronic vehicles ever made, and can go 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds. Its battery range is approximately 310 miles.
