GrandCanyonHelicopters.Org Rolls Out 2014 Deluxe Holiday Heli Rides

Fall 2014 is here and so are deluxe helicopter rides from Vegas. Flights range from air-only to landing and offer the savvy traveler and aerial adventure they'll never forget.

In anticipation of Las Vegas' convention and holiday season, Grandcanyonhelicopters.org today announced it is running a special promotion on deluxe helicopter rides for travelers who only want to fly the best.

Nearly all deluxe helicopter tours depart from the Las Vegas Strip and come with limousine pick up and drop off as well as a top-to-bottom tour of the world-famous Strip.

"If a company or a traveler is looking to impress their clients or their significant other, deluxe flights are the only way to go, especially in light of the fact that they come with the limo service and VIP customer care," noted Keith Kravitz, owner of Grandcanyonhelicotpers.org

"If a company or a traveler is looking to impress their clients or their significant other, deluxe flights are the only way to go, especially in light of the fact that they come with the limo service and VIP customer care," noted Keith Kravitz, owner of Grandcanyonhelicotpers.org

Superior Helicopters

Moreover, these tours only use the superior EcoStar 130 helicopter. The EC's best-in-class rating is supported by the fact that it's equipped with a 180-degree wraparound windshield, stadium-style seats and a state-of-the-art aerodynamic design that delivers the smoothest and most stable ride possible.

"No other aircraft offers the views experienced aboard the EC 130," noted Kravitz. "Plus the interior cabin is up to 25 percent larger than conventional choppers, which means more personal space and comfort."

There are two kinds of Las Vegas helicopter tours: Air and landing. Both go over Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, the Colorado River, the Skywalk and the Canyon before returning to Vegas for a final pass over The Strip."

Bottom Landings

Landing tours, however, will make a stop at the top or the bottom before re-ascending and going back to Vegas. Of the two, the base-landings are the most popular, especially the one that comes with a Champagne picnic.

"This particular deluxe tour is highly prone to selling out," said Kravitz. "As such, it's always recommended to book it at least a week or two in advance."

The picnic tour can also be upgraded to include a Colorado River boat ride and tickets to the Skywalk.

Land on Top

The top landing is extra-special because guests get two-plus hours to explore Grand Canyon West, which includes doing the Skywalk, the glass bridge that lets visitors walk up to 70 feet past the edge.

"Landing at the top and the bottom is one of the last true ways that Vegas travelers can experience the Canyon in all its magnificence," noted Kravitz.

The best time of day to take a deluxe helicopter ride is in the morning or at sunset. "Best times in the morning are from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.," noted Kravitz. "That's when visibility is best and the air is the smoothest. As for sunset, there's only one departure per day so if this is a consideration it's strongly recommended that it be purchased ASAP."
