Godxilla Releases Fresh New Single: You Used To Look Good

Godxilla releases an ode to girlfriends past that haven't aged gracefully.

Godxilla announces the release of “You Used To Look Good,” the first single on the highly anticipated new LP from Godxilla “Back On Crack.” We don’t always age gracefully and none of us will have our young adult looks forever. Some of us just age harder than others and we have to find the humor in getting aging. Enjoy and please laugh a lot.  The new single is available on www.Godxilla.com.

Bio: Born in Milwaukee in the 1970's, Godxilla learned early on that he had an aptitude to create music. The first instrument that he learned how to play was the Trumpet at the age of 12 years old. By the age of 22, Chris was playing the Piano, Trumpet and Drums for Choirs at Jordan Missionary Baptist Church in Milwaukee, WI as an accomplished musician.

In that time span, Chris also began programming drum machines and learning how to use multi-track recorders. His first recording session was at Firebird Recording Studios (Milwaukee, WI) in the mid 1980's at the age of 14. This path, in tandem with his musical development lead him to launch his own imprint "Ton Of Soul Records" along with his own studio, "Alcatraz Recording Studio."

Godxilla has released over 10 albums on his independent label with various artists under his music production guidance. His first solo release titled "Music is Medicine," became a Milwaukee classic with a well received single on it titled "Last Call." Godxilla’s second solo album almost 10 years later was titled “Regular People Rap” this project well well received by the state of Wisconsin and heralded as refreshing by rejecting tales of money and baller status in favor of themes such as: “Why Are You Talking To Me Before My Coffee”, and “I’m Not That Babies Daddy.” Godxilla’s next LP "Back On Crack" is slated for a Fall 2014 release.
