Globibo, a leader in the Language Service Industry, acquired the largest global library of Online Language Learning Media. The Media covers over 20,000 video, audio, animations and text assets for over 20 languages. The acquisition is targeted to support existing corporate clients and will be made available via different apps in the second quarter 2015.
Hong Kong, April 1, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Globibo, an international leader for Language Translation, Interpretation and Language Courses acquired the largest library of Online Language Learning Media effectively 30th of March. This acquisition was driven from the Hong Kong organization, but will be leveraged across all markets and Customers.
The Media covers over 20000 video, audio, animations and text assets for languages such as Arabic, Bengali, Cantonese, Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Indonesia, Dutch, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese. The database of external references completes the internal material for corporate and private Globibo students.
The future market branding is in discussion with a market launch in Q2 2015. Several applications are in development which will make the database available via iPhone, android and Web App. Preferred customers will be given priority access and their feedback will be leveraged to improve the functionality of the new library.
Globibo is already the leader in creative blended learning media for a large set of languages.
