Funny Man Ed Blaze Blazes New Travel Trail with Crowdfunding Campaign

New York, NY, April 20, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Renowned on-the-road comedian Ed Blaze doesn’t find the cost of luxury 5-star hotels very amusing. So he’s scripted a unique crowdfunding opportunity to give anyone the chance to live the high life.

The Tanzanian-born funny man who plays to sold-out crowds across the country is seeking to raise a serious $1.9 million on crowdfunding site indiegogo.com with contributions from as little as $10.00 to as much as $1,300.00. Perks range from use of the pool party area for three people (for $10.00) to three nights accommodation for two people, airport pick-up and a bottle of champagne ($200.00) to 21-night stay for two with pick up and bubbly for $1,300.00

It's not a timeshare. Blaze explains, "You pick a perk and that's all you spend. Basically you are paying your stay in advance and because of that you will have a huge discount and will become a member of a group with discounts in multiple areas, such as transportation and similar luxury condos."

With donations received Blaze, who has opened for comedians such as Bill Cosby, Dave Chappelle, Ralphie May, Jim Gaffigan, Gary Owens, Erin Foley, and Luenell Campbell, plans on making down payments on 20 luxury condos. He’s currently researching properties such as Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Mondrian South Beach Hotel, Hilton Bentley Miami/South Beach, Yacht Club at Portofino and Trump International Beach Resort.

Blaze says, “I love visiting Miami Beach but it’s outrageously expensive. So, I’ve worked out a plan where people can enjoy a four or five star condo at extremely affordable rates. They can live the life of luxury at prices that are more like staying at a hostel! I want to shake up the travel industry.”
