Far Eastern Federal University has achieved an outstanding victory at XII Asian Network for Quality Congress that took place in Singapore, from August 5th to 8th.

It has obtained the right to hold the Congress in 2016, as well as ANQ Award for the best quality management practice in «Innovative Project» nomination.

Best quality management practices that are implemented in state, private and public institutions of the Asia-Pacific Region were presented at this international forum. Participants included largest institutions of APEC countries, including leading universities.

‘We were well-prepared, but, as it became apparent during the very first day, we were not considered as frontrunners. Many on the sidelines expected Thailand would win. So it was more pleasant to see participants’ reaction to the voting results: their applauses were sincere’,- said Vladimir Nikolaev, Deputy Rector for FEFU Campus Development. ‘The Congress was held at very high level, and delegates from 17 countries participated in it. The event took place at Nanyang Technological University that is ranked 41st QS World University Rating and 76th in The Times Higher Education World University Rating. Decision to hold 2016 Congress at FEFU emphasizes increasing role our University plays in the APES and the world’.

FEFU’s «Engineering House» innovative project received ANG Award. Judges recognized it as the most important one at the current stage of quality development. Project owner, Tatiana Shkarina, Head of Academic Department for Innovation Theory, Quality, Standardization and Certification of the FEFU, was awarded with Best Presentation Diploma at ANG-2014 Congress.
