Eric Shiller to Seek Democratic Endorsement for Orange County Family Court Judgeship
Newburgh, NY, May 7, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Eric Shiller announced May 5th, 2015 at the City of Newburgh Democratic Committee meeting that he will be seeking the Democratic Party nomination for Orange County Family Court Judge for upcoming the fall election. Mr. Shiller was accompanied by his wife, Jamie and his 6 month old son, Samuel, for the announcement.
There are two open seats for Family Court Judge for the November 2015 election.
"As your future Orange County Family Court Judge, I am looking to safeguard your little ones, just like I safeguard my own," stated Mr. Shiller.
Mr. Shiller has served the people of Orange County for the past 15 years as an attorney handling countless cases that impact both parents and children, ranging from child custody and visitation, to child support, child abuse and neglect, adoption, family offenses, juvenile delinquency, and PINS (Persons in Need of Supervision).
Mr. Shiller presently and for the last six years, owns and operates a private law firm, Eric S. Shiller Law Office, P.C., focusing on family law and criminal defense matters and working with families throughout the Hudson Valley. Previously, he worked at the Legal Aid Society of Orange County for 9 years.
