Elant Community Health Division Separates From Parent Company, Names New President/CEO

Newburgh, NY, April 14, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Elant’s non-profit Community Health Division – comprised of Elant Choice, Inc., Elant at Home, and a Social Day Program – has recently separated from Elant, Inc. to allow for a more lasered focus on the growth of its Managed Long-Term Care Plan (MLTCP) and Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA), and to further expand its catalog of other forward-thinking, community-based services.

Sylvia McTigue, who worked in the capacity of Chief Administrative Officer for the Elant Network the past four years, has been named the new entity’s President and CEO.

Studies have shown that long-term at-home care can often deliver a cost savings of as much as 50 percent when compared to institutional care.
