Dr. Kathryn Barlow Named Top Dermatologist in Burnsville

St. Paul, MN, February 3, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Sun Media's Readers Choice Awards recently named Dr. Kathryn Barlow, MD the #1 Best Dermatologist by Burnsville Families for 2015. The winners of the Readers Choice Awards are voted by Sun Newspapers and Sun Media's area readers. The 6-week voting period culminates in a special newspaper issue.

Dr. Barlow practices dermatology at Dermatology Consultants, P.A. at the group's Eagan office. Her specialties include general dermatology, skin cancer detection and treatment, minor dermatologic surgery, laser treatments and cosmetic procedures like Botox, fillers and chemical peels. In addition to her membership in the American Medical Association, Dr. Barlow belongs to the Minnesota Dermatological Society, American Academy of Dermatology and American Contact Dermatitis Society.

Dr. Barlow received her medical degree at Chicago Medical School and completed her internship at Evanston Northwestern Hospital. She was Chief Resident of Loyola University from 2008-2009 and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology in 2009.

This most recent award is not Dr. Barlow's first local recognition. She was named one of Minnesota Monthly's Best Doctors for Women in both 2013 and 2014.
