Deans Installed New Commercial Awnings for Camden Stable Market

UK awnings manufacturer and installer helped in Camden Market rejuvenation project.

Leading awnings and blinds maker, Deans Blinds and Awnings UK, have won the first phase of the Camden Market rejuvenation project starting with the installation of traditional Victorian awnings for the new Pizzeria and Poppies Fish & Chips Stalls at the entrance of the Stables Market underneath the iconic Camden Rail Bridge. The market owners wanted to keep a traditional look whilst having a vibrant colour to match in with the Camden Lifestyle of music and art. The traditional awnings installed were covered with soil resistant Sunvas fabric. Deans have also now been asked to complete a further awning to the side of the stalls. The company are looking forward to a continued relationship with Stables Market Ltd as more work is undertaken.

About the Stables Market:

The Stables Market was owned by Bebo Kobo, OD Kobo, Richard Caring and Elliot Bernerd of Chelsfield Partners until 2014. It is today owned by Market Tech PLC, a UK AiM listed public company. The market is located in the historic former Pickfords stables and Grade II listed horse hospital which served the horses pulling Pickford's distribution vans and barges along the canal. Many of the stalls and shops are set in large arches in railway viaducts.
