CC Pace Announces Executive Speaking Engagements at Potomac Forum
CC Pace executives to speak at Potomac Forum's, Agile Development in Government Training Workshop on January 28, 2015 in Washington, DC.
Fairfax, VA, January 17, 2015 (Newswire.com) - CC Pace announced today that two of their executive leadership team members, Philippa Fewell and David Patton, will be participating as conference session presenters at the Potomac Forum, Ltd.’s AGILE Development in Government Training Workshop. The keynote speaker for this event is Mark Schwartz, Chief Information Officer (CIO) of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a component of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Since joining USCIS, Schwartz has introduced such practices as Agile and Lean development, continuous delivery, and DevOps. He has also taken on the lead role across DHS in introducing Agile approaches.
Fewell, Managing Director of CC Pace’s Enterprise Solutions, will be presenting, “Putting it All Together – An Agile Roadmap”. She will discuss how to do a readiness assessment of an organization’s current ability to implement an Agile approach. Fewell will address the importance of providing adequate customized training and when to take advantage of seasoned expert coaches. She will also outline how to determine what approaches under the Agile umbrella will work best with an agency’s goals.
Patton, Director of CC Pace’s Federal Practice, will be presenting, “What’s on the Agile Horizon and Why it is Important for Government?” This presentation will explain Agile and the dynamic techniques for continuous improvement. Patton will discuss approaches for scaling Agile to the enterprise. He will also introduce Kanban for O&M and DevOps.
