Californians Walked Raising $26,948 and Awareness for Five Million Californians

The Hearing Loss Association of America tenth annual Walk4Hearing in San Diego on Sunday, October 25, 2015, raised $26,948, increasing awareness about hearing loss.

About 200 walkers from all over California participated in the walk, raising $26,948 for hearing loss support causes and surpassing the walk's $25,000 goal.  The walk was 5 K (3.1 miles).  The San Diego walk was one of 23 events taking place across the nation in 2015.  In addition to raising awareness, Walk4Hearing raises funds that are used in local communities.  Since its inception in 2006, the Walk4Hearing has raised more than $9 million nationwide.
