BlueCava Announces Appointment of Bill Varga to Chief Revenue Officer
MarTech Veteran to Lead Worldwide Expansion of BlueCava's Cross-Screen Marketing Platform
Irvine, CA, October 21, 2015 (Newswire.com) - BlueCava, the leader in cross-screen marketing solutions, today announced that veteran software executive Bill Varga has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer. Varga, an early pioneer in the audience targeting space with IP intelligence provider Quova (now Neustar) and CRM leader, SalesLogix (now Infor), most recently served as EVP Sales and Business Development at Ounce Labs (acquired by IBM) and was the go to market leader at Shunra Software (acquired by HP). Varga will lead BlueCava’s expansion of global direct and indirect channels.
With households now owning five devices on average, demand for cross-screen marketing solutions has never been higher. BlueCava is an early leader and pioneer in creating cross-screen audience association maps that connect brand target audiences with buyers across phone, tablet, desktop, smart TV and select IoT devices. The company’s graph now covers 82% of U.S. consumers, with more than 1.5 billion IDs mapped to 600 million devices, 240 million consumers and 100 million households. Recent adoption by leading retailers in telecommunications, financial services and travel have accelerated the requirement for a growth-oriented CRO.
“We’re very pleased to be able to recruit a talent like Bill to the company at this time,” said Phil Myers, BlueCava’s Executive Chairman. “His experience in building solution sales teams that manage relationships with enterprise accounts through both direct and indirect channels precisely fits our business model. Bill joins us at a great inflection point as both BlueCava and our customers and partners move aggressively into 2016 with ‘cross-screen first’ mentalities.”
“BlueCava has quietly become a cross-screen industry leader in both accuracy and privacy compliance,” said Bill Varga. “In my survey of BlueCava customers and prospects, one over-riding point was clear – data scientists who take the time to test choose BlueCava in an overwhelming majority of decisions. My charter is to challenge the industry to take a look at the new BlueCava.”
Varga will lead the company’s sales, marketing and business development teams out of the New York office. The company currently focuses its operations in North America, with plans to expand to international markets in 2016.
BlueCava’s cross-screen audience association platform enables brands, agencies, along with technology and data partner providers to target and engage coordinated brand stories across their audiences’ various devices.
