Baton Rouge, LA, November 3, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Join Price LeBlanc Lexus for a special fundraising event on Sunday, November 2, 2014. Tickets are on sale now for the Price LeBlanc Lexus Baton Rouge Wine Opener event to benefit The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The fundraiser will be held at Sullivan’s Steakhouse located at 5252 Corporate Boulevard in Baton Rouge.
Cystic fibrosis (CF), the life threatening disease, is a genetic disorder that mainly affects the lungs but may also affect the pancreas, liver, and intestines. Difficulty breathing is the most serious symptom and results from frequent lung infections. The disorder can affect other areas of the body. Additional symptoms may include sinus infections, poor growth, and infertility. Cystic Fibrosis is currently found in about 30,000 people nationwide.
The fundraising event calls for cocktail attire and runs from 7:00 until 10:00 PM. Sullivan’s Steakhouse executive chef, Leighton Carbo, will be on hand preparing gourmet bites. Guests will also enjoy an array of wines to sample throughout the night. Live entertainment and silent auction items will be a part of the festivities as well.
Two ticket levels are available for the Wine Opener event. $125 VIP tickets allow guests to enter an hour early at 6:00 PM. General admission tickets are $100 and allow entry at 7:00 PM. All proceeds will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
