Attorney, Former Jacksonville City Council President, Jack Webb, Joins Kelley Kronenberg

Webb has joined Kelley Kronenberg as Managing Partner of the firm's Jacksonville office

Kelley Kronenberg, a national full-service law firm, announced that attorney and former Jacksonville City Council President, Jack D. Webb, has joined as Managing Partner of its Jacksonville office.  In addition to practicing law, he will be responsible for growing Kelley Kronenberg’s presence in North Florida.

For several years, Kelley Kronenberg has had a Jacksonville office that mainly handled Workers’ Compensation matters for regional clients. With the addition of Mr. Webb, the plan now is to expand the breadth of services offered in the Jacksonville office and further develop the firm’s business legal services like commercial litigation, labor and employment and insurance related matters. Mr. Webb hopes to add 10 new lawyers to the office in the next 12 months.

“For me, this was an opportunity to join a progressive, business law firm with a unique entrepreneurial culture,” said Mr. Webb. “When attorneys hear our story and the refreshing opportunity that awaits them, I think we’ll be extremely successful. There is unlimited potential for Kelley Kronenberg to further grow in the Jacksonville legal market.”

Mr. Webb focuses his practice on Employment and Labor matters, Government Relations, Complex Commercial Litigation and Commercial Negotiations and Transactions.  Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner for a full-service business law firm in Jacksonville, and before that, he was Director of Labor and Employee Relations for a large third-party logistics provider. He served as a Jacksonville City Councilman and was Vice President and President of the Council during his term that lasted from 2007-2011.

“Not only is Jack a very talented lawyer, he’s also a well-known and well-respected leader in the area,” said Kelley Kronenberg CEO Michael Fichtel. “His reputation and connections in the business and legal community make him the ideal candidate to continue to build our presence in Jacksonville. We are confident that he is the right guy to reach our expansion goals in this part of the state.”

Kelley Kronenberg made its name as a boutique law firm defending Workers’ Compensation claims, but has since grown to a national firm with 10 offices and more than 25 practice areas. Some of the new areas of focus include Labor and Employment Law, Government Relations, Family Law, Commercial Litigation and Trusts and Estates.

Mr. Webb earned his undergraduate degree in History from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York, and then earned his Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Florida.  After a short, but successful career on Wall Street, he returned to the University of Florida to receive his law degree with honors. He is licensed to practice law in Florida and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.
