An App to Discover an Amazing Piece of Art, Now Available for Windows Devices
Available today, the app The PhilG Retirement Plan is all about artist Phil Garner (aka PhilG) and his latest project 'An Ongoing Painting'. It is a huge piece reaching over 18m (60ft) made up of equal sized canvases connected by Phil's surrealist theme. This app lets the viewer scroll through all the canvases, each schematically linked, zooming in and out, journeying through the surrealist landscape.
Bergen, Norway, May 19, 2015 (Newswire.com) - This app, The PhilG Retirement Plan exists so that this amazing piece of art can be viewed on Windows devices. Zooming in looking at all the details or viewing it as in a real gallery – "a virtual gallery in your hand". The user can scroll through all the canvases in ‘An Ongoing Painting’ or use the slideshow feature and sit back and enjoy all 20 canvases in this huge piece. As this is an ongoing project, more will be added as Phil completes another canvas. A biography of PhilG is included in the app and links to some of his other work.
Born in Coventry in 1950, PhilG has been painting for over 30 years. In that time he has produced and sold many pieces of work. He has exhibited widely and been the artist in residence at The Chimera Gallery in Folkestone UK. PhilG's work can be seen at Folkestone Town Hall between 18th May and 24th of June 2015.

The PhilG Retirement Plan is now available for £2.29 in the UK and is priced accordingly in other regions. A Windows 10, Android and iOS version of the app are currently in development.
