American Student Supply Hosts Web Event to Benefit Toys for Tots

American Student Supply kicked off its annual Toys For Tots web event, allowing donors the opportunity to purchase a Crayola toy to benefit Toys for Tots.

On November 1, American Student Supply kicked off its annual Toys For Tots web event, allowing donors the opportunity to purchase a Crayola toy to benefit Toys for Tots with the click of a computer mouse.

Once donated toys are purchased through the event, the online school supply company then provides complimentary delivery to any state or city’s donation coordination site. The Crayola toys offered through the Toys for Tots event range from $5 to $22.

“For so many people who simply don’t have time to add one more errand to their holiday to-do list, this is an extremely convenient way to be able to help,” said Joanne Benson, program coordinator for American Student Supply. “We’re also hearing from older adults or people who are no longer able to drive that this is a fantastic opportunity for them to be able to shop for Toys for Tots.”

To participate, donors can go to www.AmericanStudentSupply.com and click on the Toys for Tots graphic in the middle of the homepage. Then, they will be able to browse the online catalog of available toys for purchase through the event, add desired toys to an online shopping cart, and then proceed with payment information to complete the purchase.

American Student Supply’s Toys for Tots event runs through December 5.

“Donating to Toys for Tots online takes out the hassle of extra shopping during the busy holiday season, while still benefiting the wonderful mission of Toys for Tots,” Benson said.
