American Board of Forensic Accounting Invites Jay Shapiro, CPA to be Featured Speaker at Executive Summit 2015

American Board of Forensic Accounting has invited, Jay Shapiro CPA to be a featured speaker at its annual conference -Executive Summit 2015 - Santa Barbara, CA August 6-8, 2015 at the University of California Santa Barbara.

Jay Shapiro presentation entitled “Contingent Compensatory Contracts” will address forensic issues involved in licensor, investor and talent compensation arrangements.

Jay Shapiro, a CPA, has over 39 years of entertainment accounting experience. His specialty involves forensic review of production and distribution of motion pictures and television programming on behalf of all third-party profit participants. He frequently gives expert testimony in litigation proceedings involving entertainment claims of high-profile celebrities and other economic damage issues.

His Los Angeles practice serves the Entertainment, Media, Law, Real Estate, Retail and Medical Industries, providing accounting, tax return services, outsourced CFO services, and IRS/FTB representation.

Jay Shapiro was the National Partner for Entertainment and Media Industries at Laventhol & Horwath before founding Sunrise Media Group in 2002 and is a CPA, MBA, DABFA, as well as a frequent lecturer at UCLA, USC, and ASU on financial and accounting matters.
