Alternative Utility Services Now Offering Solar

Alternative Utility Services, Inc. offers clients solar opportunities through Community Green Energy LLC; developing renewable energy projects nationwide.

Alternative Utility Services (AUS), a national energy and sustainability consulting firm, has added solar to its long list of energy services. In conjunction with renewable energy developer, Community Green Energy (CGE), AUS provides clients the opportunity to “go solar” with no investment. Through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), the client agrees to host a solar system on its facility, and purchase the electric output produced. The actual panels are owned, operated and maintained by third-party developer, CGE.

“Our PPA is a long-term 15 to 20 year commitment by the electricity end-user to purchase the electricity generated, at a typically discounted price,” said Fritz Kreiss, president and co-founder of AUS. “This allows clients the luxury of going solar, without making a major capital investment, or having to worry about installation or maintenance. And with solar onsite, they have a visible representation of their commitment to the environment.”

A Power Purchase Agreement provides the freedom to 'go solar', with NO investment.

In working with Community Green Energy, AUS is able to offer clients a variety of solar options, including Community Virtual Solar Gardens, Community Solarize programs and Community Solar Workplace.
