Absolute Business Solutions, Corp. (ABSc) Wins Prime Position on $2 Billion INSCOM GISS Contract
ABSc awarded as a small business prime as the company builds towards rapid growth in 2015
Herndon, VA, March 23, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Absolute Business Solutions, Corp (ABSc), a provider of cutting edge solutions in Information Technology, Professional Services and Intelligence Support, was recently awarded a prime position on the Global Intelligence Support Services (GISS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) – Restricted Pool contract.
GISS is a multiple award IDIQ contract administered by the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). GISS supports a wide and diverse variety of missions that include: intelligence analysis; electronic systems; Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) systems; prototype intelligence hardware and software suites; security and security systems and facilities; and other business functions supporting INSCOM and its subordinate commands.
Support services under the GISS contract include the following areas: (1) intelligence and security operations; (2) information operations; (3) mission support for facilities management, logistics, training, and intelligence systems support; and (4) sustainment services – including program management, strategic planning, administrative and requirements analysis services.

The five-year GISS IDIQ has a $2.16 billion ceiling. The GISS acquisition was solicited with both an unrestricted competition pool under a full and open competition and a restricted competition pool as a partial small business set-aside. The value the INSCOM GISS procurement with both the unrestricted and restricted competition pools included is $7.2 billion.
