Pearl & Clasp, a premier source for quality pearl jewelry, introduced today a unique new service designed to transform the way consumers shop for pearls. The company's new Design Your Own Pearl Jewelry section will provide consumers with the opportunity to submit their own pearl jewelry designs and to have the design transformed from a concept into a piece of real jewelry.

"Our product line is jam-packed with gorgeous pieces that were hand-picked by our team," says Tara Horn, senior partner at Pearl & Clasp. "But we recognize that many women want something entirely unique, and that until now there has been no easy way to satisfy this desire. With the Design Your Own Pearl Jewelry section we're able to give shoppers exactly what they want in a way that no other jewelry retailer can."

Unlike the company's restringing service which requires customers to send in their own pearls and to choose a new design from the company's product list, the Design Your Own Pearl Jewelry service will allow consumers to create a piece of jewelry entirely from scratch. Shoppers will be able to submit their exclusive designs by answering questions, submitting photos or drawings and including links to photos of their inspiration when possible. With the Design Your Own Pearl Jewelry section customers can also opt to send in their existing pearl strands to have them restrung with a custom design. The Pearl & Clasp team will then follow up with the designer to confirm the idea and ask any final questions to avoid any confusion, and will create the requested piece with the quality of pearls chosen by the customer.

Another benefit of the Design Your Own Pearl jewelry section is the ability for consumers to get the design they want at a price they can afford. "By working one-on-one with consumers, we'll be able to advise them about how to reduce their costs, if necessary, by choosing smaller pearls or lesser grade pearls," noted Horn. "Fabulous pearls will not only be enjoyed by the designer, but will be cherished by the family for years to come, and we are honored to be a part of this legacy."
