Details: During the 17-day event, Galleria shoppers can visit the Operation Kindness structure - located on Level 1 near Banana Republic - and interact with animals who are looking for their forever home, adopt a dog or cat, and learn about volunteer opportunities.
Cost: Adoption fees are $110 for cats, $135 for kittens (under 1 year of age), $160 for dogs and $185 for puppies (under 1 year of age). Adoption fees help cover the costs of caring for the animals at Operation Kindness, such as tests, vaccinations, collars/tags, microchipping, spay/neuter surgery, medical procedures, surgeries, rehabilitation and recovery. Operation Kindness spends more than $270 on average for each animal in its care.
