'The Little Book of Short Stories' by Wendell Hall is a Four Story Collection That Takes Readers From Icy Mountains to the Onset of World War I

From Wendell Hall, "The Little Book of Short Stories" is a short story collection following four different people across four different adventures across four different genres.

“The Little Book of Short Stories” came together as sort of a collaborative work. Written by Wendell Hall, he received much support from his wife and his son, who helped him work out ideas and made the original cover, and with some help from two English teachers early on who inspired him to read, write, and eventually finish this book.

“The Little Book of Short Stories” is a four-story collection with something for everyone. “Lost” follows a family who takes a wrong turn during a vacation and finds themselves in great danger. “Voices Beyond the Grave” is around a mysterious cave with no way out. “A Shadow Cast” follows Bryson, who sets out to discover why no electricity seems to be working anywhere. Closing things out, “The Boy and a Plane” takes place during World War I, where two friends work together to foil a scheme to take down England.

Readers looking for some adventure can purchase “The Little Book of Short Stories” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iBooks Store, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble.
