Camp Corral Appoints Veteran Fundraising Expert Sheri Oberhelman as Donor Engagement Manager

Oberhelman to strengthen nonprofit's key stakeholder relationships and help drive support for the children of wounded, ill and fallen military heroes

Sheri Oberhelman

Camp Corral, a leading provider of support and enrichment opportunities for the children of this nation's wounded, ill, and fallen military heroes, today announced that Sheri Oberhelman has joined the organization as Donor Engagement Manager.

Oberhelman brings many years of experience directing various support programs for post-9/11 veterans. With a comprehensive understanding of nonprofit program development, veteran engagement, and donor giving campaigns, she will drive more impactful relationships with donors and other key stakeholders to strengthen resources and services available to the nation's most vulnerable military children.

"Sheri is a jack of all trades when it comes to organizing support services for our nation's veterans, and her expertise will be a significant asset in our mission of enriching the lives of military children," said Lori Noonan, Chief Operating Officer at Camp Corral. "We are overjoyed to welcome her to the team."

Prior to Camp Corral, Oberhelman served in various roles over the course of a nine-year tenure with the FOCUS Marines Foundation, a nationally recognized organization to help Marines Corps veterans create the lives they deserve. Her positions with the Foundation included Program Coordinator, where she was responsible for engaging post-9/11 veterans through every stage of the organization's support programs, and Development Manager, where she led planning and execution of the organization's signature fundraising events.

"Serving our nation's veterans has been a personal and professional passion for the last several years, and I am honored to join Camp Corral in extending support to the children of our military heroes," said Oberhelman. "I'd like to thank the Camp Corral team for their warm welcome, and I look forward to working with military children and their families across the country in the months to come."
