The event, which took place March 18-20, 2012 at the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza in Chicago, Illinois, brought together more than 125 attendees from across the United States.
"We have received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from the attendees of this year's conference," commented Joe Zalewski, Managing Partner and COO at BizTech. "I'm very proud of the BizTech Team for putting forth an amazing effort from start to finish. I want to thank everyone who attended, especially Infor, the presenters and our sponsors, for making our 2012 VISUAL User conference a first-class event."
From opening to close, the conference was packed with VISUAL-related information. At the Opening General Session, Keynote Speaker Mark Humphlett, Director of ERP Industry & Product Marketing at Infor Global Solutions, spoke about how Infor is moving forward with the Infor10 strategy and the value that it brings to the VISUAL Customer base.
Following the Opening Session, the National VISUAL Users Group gave a State of the Union address, discussing the newly formed VEGUG and its' mission to bring together all regional VISUAL User Groups to form a strong union and develop a platform to deliver product enhancement requests to Infor. In addition, Danna Nelson, Senior Product Manager for VISUAL, presented the VISUAL Road Map- outlining the future of the Infor10 ERP Express (VISUAL) software, including version 7.1 to be released soon.
On the first evening of the conference, the Welcome Reception Networking Event sponsored by Insite Software proved to be a great time for all attendees to network with one another and get a look at product offerings from several companies in the VISUAL Solutions Center. VISUAL-related products and services from Base2 Corporation, Compusoft Development, Data Communication Solutions, Focused E-Commerce, Insite Software, Rubber Tree Systems, Truefit Solutions, and were featured.
At the Second City Comedy Club Networking Event, sponsored by Focused E-Commerce, attendees had an exciting evening both watching the hilarious Second City All-Stars Improv Show, and networking with fellow VISUAL users, the entire BizTech VISUAL Team and Infor Representatives. Manny Guevara of Crystallume said the event was "Awesome! A Great Time!"
Throughout the conference, over 30 educational breakout sessions covering a variety of VISUAL Manufacturing, Financial, Technical and General topics were offered. Attendees were also able to schedule very productive One-on-One Consulting Sessions with BizTech's VISUAL Consultants.
