A new concept of time travel is quickly moving into the Fantasy / Sci-Fi young adult market for those who harbor a sense of adventure. Nibi Soto's new novel, "Beyond the Map's Boundary" is curiously catching on with adults of all ages as well. It appears to have high word-of-mouth value and has been featured as the book of the month at AllBooks Review.
"We're two months away from distribution of the paperback, and it's unusual for an unknown author to be selected so quickly as the featured book of a national review house." said C. L. Humpherys, V.P. of Marketing at Thornock International Productions, Inc. (Publisher). " However, Beyond the Map's Boundary is an extraordinary example of what fantasy/fiction should be; fast paced, engaging plot, totally new and a creative approach to its subject (time travel). It arouses ones emotions; fear, humor, love, anger...and the characters become very endearing to the reader."
The novel tells the story about Mattie and Trevor, two teenagers that have never known anything but happy, stable lives without any hint as to who they really are. Until one day when Mattie begins having visions and witnesses historical events appearing on particles of light. Unbeknownst to her, Mattie was born into a family of time travelers. In order to save her from dissolving into the core of time, Trevor becomes her time link, making it possible for her to return to the present following each time travel into the past. With the accidental discovery of the Rings of Prather Mendell, Trevor now shares many of her powers. Together they try to foil the plans of an illicit time traveler from the future who will stop at nothing to possess the secret, supernatural abilities of the time travelers and the forbidden powers of the rings.
"The action is riveting, and the plot will absolutely draw the reader in. The level of detail demands that this story be re-read and appreciated for its nuances." J. Blackburn - AllBooks Review.
"Her characters are vibrant and well-defined and will appeal to a wide range of ages from young teenagers to adults. Soto offers mystery, romance, science fiction, family reunions and a hearty dose of humor." Andi Diehn - ForeWord Clarion Review.
Soto plans to write at least four sequels and possibly more.
"The material in this old head of mine is endless on the subject of time travel. I write the books as if I were reading them for the first time myself and have a ball doing it." Soto said. "Wouldn't it be fun to see this catch on as the next blockbuster movie on the world stage?"
With the intense new fantasy world Soto has created in this novel it is certain that it will spark the imagination of everyone. Fantasy and Sci-Fi fans can give the novel a free test run at the website before purchasing.
