Mustang Survival has joined the Association of Collegiate Anglers as the newest sponsor of the Cabela's Collegiate Bass Fishing Series.

Mustang Survival announces that they joined the Association of Collegiate Anglers as the newest sponsor of the Cabela's Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. This nationally televised series consists of the Cabela's Collegiate Big Bass Bash, the Collegiate Bass Fishing Open and the season-ending BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship. Anglers throughout the world have come to know Mustang Survival as the premier Personal Flotation Device (PFD) brand for active bass fishermen. Their designs are made to integrate seamlessly into the fishing lifestyle while delivering comfort, function, and most importantly, safety.

"Safety is our number one priority in the Cabela's Collegiate Bass Fishing Series and we've worked on many initiatives with our partners at BoatUS to stress the importance of wearing PFDs over the years. So, this is a great fit for everyone," according to Wade Middleton, President of CarecoTV and Co-founder of the ACA. "The products made by Mustang Survival are designed with the angler in mind. They are lightweight, easy to use, and easy to maintain. We look forward to promoting their line of recreational products at the upcoming BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship and through our various others means at the ACA."

Mustang Survival appreciates the support their products and brand have received from the fishing community. Being able to build another great partnership with ACA will help Mustang Survival connect with even more anglers on new product designs, enabling the company to continuously improve their offering of industry leading safety solutions.

The BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship is the marquee event of the series and is scheduled for May 20-24, 2013. Florence, Alabama and Lake Pickwick will serve as the hosts of this annual event and more than 100 colleges are expected to attend and compete for the title of National Champions.
