Miami-LANBASH- Video Game Tournament

CBT College's LANBASH video game tournaments have become the biggest video game event in Miami.

Miami, FL- CBT College, (College of Business & Technology) a career College based in Miami, Florida announces its 7th bi-annual video game tournament series - LANBASH. The "biggest tournament yet" is scheduled for Saturday July 28, 2012 at 9:00 am. The competition will be held at the iconic James L Knight Center, 400 SE 2nd Ave, Miami, FL. With more than 11,000 ft2 of space, it is almost double the space than last year's LANBASH 6 at the Awarehouse in Miami's Design District. This year CBT College is pleased to host the event with our partner Origin PC.

Video Games fans in South Florida feel excited with CBT College's LANBASH as they claim "there are no other video game tournaments of this magnitude in Miami". CBT College's School of Technology organizes each LANBASH to raise awareness of the growing opportunities in the technology field including: Information Technology and 3D Animation & Design. Sponsors showcase their latest products, gear, and games making the LANBASH the place to be for video game buffs.

"LANBASH has become such a huge hit among our student body and the general gaming community in Miami that we needed a bigger place to accommodate the number of participants that travel from all over Florida just to be part of it" says Fernando Larez, Director of Marketing at CBT College. "Since our first LANBASH in 2010, we have almost tripled the number of gamers, participants and the caliber of sponsors participating." LANBASH 7 gamers must be at least 17 years of age to play rated "M" games, including: Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3, Star Craft 2, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and League of Legends .To register go http://www.cbtlanbash.com and click on "register." Admission is $25.00 which includes the tournament pot cash, increasing the chances of higher prize monies.

CBT College's LANBASH tournaments expose the general public to the latest technology trends in computing and video-game design. "We are very proud to put this event together for the community. Other great perks include a BONUS to each tournament pot, provided by CBT College. 1st place winner of the team tournament, can win up to $1,200 in additional cash! Details of the tournament prizes for teams include: 1st place (Team) 80% of the tournament pot and 20% for 2nd place, with the chance of winning the bonus cash provided by CBT College.
