Karlie Redd expands her brand through a new cosmetics line
Online, December 11, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Karlie Redd Entertainment is expanding their growing brand empire with a make-up collection.
The company has teamed up with Atlanta-based make-up brand Colour U Cosmetics to create 'Sins and Forgiveness' - a collection of lipstick, eye shadow, lip gloss, and blush inspired by the Karlie's Angels lingerie collection launching in Winter 2014 with Las Vegas-based designer Angel Brinks.
"Sins and Forgiveness came to mind when I started thinking of what I could align with my Karlie's Angels collection. Something that would appeal to women of all shades," says Karlie Redd.
The 'Karlie' signature red lipstick was unveiled yesterday in Atlanta at the Mall at Stonescrest Colour U Cosmetics counter before a multitude of fans as Love and Hip Hop Atlanta cameras captured every moment. The red lipstick is guaranteed to be a winner of seduction, beauty and elegance as it was unveiled just in time for the holiday season. The lipstick will be available in six shades, named after Karlie Redd's Angel inspirational connotations.
Lip gloss, eye shadow and blush will also be available beginning Spring 2014 with colors ranging from nude to a signature hot pink.
Each of the products in the line will be priced under $30, according to the Colour U Cosmetics website, and will be available online and in-stores at The Mall at Stonecrest and Cumberland Mall Colour U Cosmetics Counters in Atlanta.
Part of the unveiling program included a toy drive benefiting the Marines Toys for Tots of Atlanta as Karlie always makes time for the children and ensures she plays her part in putting a smile on child's face during the holiday season. Also, to benefit an up and coming makeup artist, Redd decided to run a casting call as she searches for one to travel with her in 2014.
Some of the celebs present for the launch were Karlie's significant other Young Joc, actor and comedian Rodney Perry, Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes's little sister Reigndrop Lopes, WNBA coach's wife and socialite Bo Talley and Love and Hip Hop cast members Rasheeda and new addition Kalenna from Diddy - Dirty Money.
Speaking of cast members, cameras were rolling as the girls openly discussed Karlie's launch and inspiration. No visible drama ensued before the crowd and it goes to show "that women can support each other even with the same products, " says Karlie Redd in reference to Rasheeda's recent cosmetic launch of the Poiz line.
