Local Water Mitigation Company Screening Party to Benefit the Ocho Project

Water Mitigation Company is hosting a screening party that will act as a venue to raise funds and donations for The Ocho Project.

1-800-DRY-ME-OUT is excited to announce that they will be utilizing their Water Mitigation Screening Party on August 25th as an opportunity to collect books and donations for The Ocho Project!

The OCHO Project is a character building and literary based service-learning program that is dedicated to exposing children to the joys of reading while teaching them that, through reading, they can help others less fortunate than themselves. OCHO stands for Opportunities for Children to Help Others. The prime objective of the program is to have students read not only to expand their own knowledge but also to help "earn" books for their fellow students who have few or no books of their own. Students will "serve" and "learn" while building character values. Students are able to apply knowledge in real world settings by learning both inside and outside of the classroom.

1-800-DRY-ME-OUT is excited to provide an opportunity for the Tampa Bay community to stop by their screening party and drop off donations for The Ocho Project. Tampa Bay residents are encouraged to bring any used or new books to the event. 1-800-DRY-ME-OUT will also be collecting monetary donations for the project. A representative from The Ocho Project is expected to be in attendance. For more information on The Ocho Project, please visit: http://www.biggestandbrightestlight.com/ochoproject.html

The Screening is slated for Thursday, August 25th, 2011 and will take place at Alli Gators Trinity restaurant located at 3523 Little Road, Trinity, Florida, 34655. The event starts at 6:00 pm.
