A local limousine rental company has been honored with a medal for "Most Innovative" in a contest that takes in all of the limo rentals in the greater Los Angeles metro area. The award, which is given every year by a body made up of a variety of companies in the rental, food-service, and luxury industries, judges each company on a series of seven factors: Value for money, Innovative fleet, Ease of planning, Floral arranging, Wedding planning, Competitive sales edge, and Outstanding service.

"To receive this medal is a humbling and exciting experience," says Bobby Rezapour, of First LA Limo. "It shows that our efforts to make this company innovative, unique, and valuable have not gone unnoticed." Rezapour accepted the award at a special dinner given in honor of the whole company.

"In the world of limousine rental, it's not enough just to rent a few limos," says Rezapour. "It is so important to look at it from the perspective of the person who is doing the rental. One of the areas we totally specialize in is the art of wedding rentals."

He relates how to the company came to realize that people were looking for a company that could take a lot of the hassle out of planning a wedding. "That was when we hired a professional event planner, a professional floral supervisor, and reached out to our local clergy and wedding chapels. We wanted to offer all these services, for free, as part of the overall package. It's so rewarding when we hear our clients say, 'Wow, you really made my wedding day a lot less stressful!' We hear it all the time."

The award focused specifically on First LA Limo's efforts to make the limousine rental an organic part of any wedding service. "For example, a lot of people don't know how to make the limousine match the floral design of a wedding. Which might not sound like a big deal to some people, especially guys. But when that wedding day comes, and you've dropped a few thousand on the perfect flowers, you don't want people to look at that limousine and say, Wow, where did that come from?"

By combining the best of a modern fleet with old-fashioned service, First LA Limo impressed the judges. "A couple of the judges told me that they had never thought of a limousine rental service in the way we showed them before," Rezapour says. "One of them said that he'd always thought a limo rental was as about as important to a wedding as an Avis Rent-A-Car. We showed him different."
